What?We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer that shares our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will have part in the disruption of the healthcare industry and will help deliver better patient care.

As a Principal Software Engineer in our team, you’ll be responsible to lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support healthcare platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. You will own the complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.

Minimum Qualifications- BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent - 3-5+ years of developing and shipping enterprise software- Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices- Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java or similar OO languages- Experience with web service design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud services such as OCI- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or OracleDB

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 - $223,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
