What You’ll Make Happen

  • Generate new insights from research into challenges facing utilities and their customers and technical capabilities that could be leveraged to address those challenges.
  • Perform original market research to inform market sizing and market requirements.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions to identify customer needs and help identify problem areas for product investment.


Contribute to the vision, strategy and roadmap for Opower products.

  • Support sales and client success teams to drive adoption of our products via development of client-facing materials.
  • Contribute to business plans, product plans, and definition of success metrics to make the case for new investments.

Responsibilities

Objective Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for a Product Manager Intern position, the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below must be met. Please ensure the application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs.

  • Will be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering Management, Information Systems Management, Business Analytics, or an equivalent field during the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Have completed at least your junior year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2025.
  • Are proficient (e.g., can complete coding projects without any assistance) in at least one of the following programming languages:
    • Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, JavaScript, R, PHP, Swift, Go, C#, Matlab, Julia, Kotlin
  • Have academic course work, projects, internships, and/or research experience in one or more of the following Computer Science areas:
    • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Natural Language Processing
    • Big Data / Data Structures / Algorithms
    • Cloud Computing
    • Computer Systems / Distributed Systems /Embedded Systems / Operating Systems
    • Database Systems/Design
    • Object Oriented Design
    • Web/Mobile Development
    • User Interface Design
  • Have academic course work, work experience, or completed project research in one or more of the following Business Management areas (or equivalents):

US: Hiring Range in USD from $19.62 - $30.63 per hour; from: $40,800 - $63,700 per year. Not eligible for bonus, equity, or compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
