About the role

As an Automation Engineer at RubyLabs, you will be entrusted with crafting and refining sophisticated applications and automation workflows through advanced low-code platforms, utilizing a blend of visual development tools and frameworks. Your primary focus will be to transpose business necessities into dynamic, efficient solutions and streamline processes by designing and implementing automated workflows. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations, reducing manual effort, and minimizing the costs associated with external software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in application development and deployment by designing and constructing intuitive user interfaces with Tooljet. Foster integration by connecting external services and APIs with Tooljet applications, ensuring seamless interoperability and enhancement of application functionality.

  • Engage in comprehensive research and analytical studies of internal business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation, and translating them into actionable low-code solutions.

  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including developers and key stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project objectives and to provide expertise in the low code domain.

Qualifications
  • A strong foundation in web service technologies including RESTful API, webhooks, and API authentication mechanisms.

  • Experience with leading low-code development platforms such as N8N, Zapier, Make, Tooljet, Bubble or similar technologies.

  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, with the ability to manipulate and employ the language within low-code environments.

  • Competence in executing comprehensive testing protocols, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to guarantee the quality and reliability of applications.

  • Good communication skills complemented by the aptitude for fostering teamwork within a diverse, cross-functional team setting. Your interpersonal abilities will be key in translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating effectively.

  • A proactive mindset, geared towards continually improving process workflows and driving efficiencies through technology.

Nice to have
  • Experience working with Unified Payments Infrastructure such as Primer.io

  • Experience with deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to enhance the scalability and security of low-code solutions.
