Job description

Beemac Logistics is looking to build our Salesforce!  We need dynamic, competitive, and entrepreneurial minded individuals who are motivated by unlimited earning potential.  This is a unique inside sales position with the ability to make a SIX-FIGURE income in as little as 18 months! It is an opportunity to grow a book of business and build meaningful relationships in the transportation logistics industry. In this role you can earn cash bonuses, become a Vice President, and work from home days possible after achieving sales goals and KPIs benchmarks.

  • You will act as a business owner, entrepreneur and customer service specialist determined to build your own book of business by being the single point of contact for all your customer’s needs.

Day to Day Functions:

  • Prospect new business and forge new relationships daily.
  • Work with operations to build and track loads.
  • Negotiate rates with carrier partners and valued clients.
  • Utilize multiple forms of communication such as telephone, e-mail, instant messenger, and other support software.

What you need to bring to the table:

  • You must be able to work full-time Monday through Friday.

  • A College Degree is preferred.  However, relevant advanced sales or industry experience will be considered.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.

  • Driven by a high moral and ethical compass.
  • Willingness to conduct and build your business confidently over the telephone and face-to-face.

As an EDI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions within our transportation operations. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI systems and processes to support our logistics activities.

Responsibilities:
  • EDI Implementation:
    • Analyze and assess client EDI requirements to determine the most suitable solutions.
    • Configure and implement EDI systems and mapping rules.
    • Test and validate EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • EDI Maintenance:
    • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI systems and processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
    • Update and maintain EDI maps and configurations as needed.
    • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding EDI-related matters.
  • Data Management:
    • Manage and maintain EDI data files and databases.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to EDI.
    • Ensure compliance with EDI standards and guidelines.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, IT, customer service) to ensure seamless EDI integration.
    • Work closely with clients and carriers to address EDI-related concerns.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in EDI implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
  • Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software (e.g., Gentran, Sterling Integrator).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., SQL, Python).
