About the Role

Software Engineer (Algorithmic Trading)

As a software engineer in the trading team, your main focus is on developing and maintaining components of our Order Execution Management System (OEMS). Your role involves designing and implementing robust OEMS features, Smart Order Router (SOR) logic, and execution algorithms to ensure optimal order execution. You'll collaborate with product managers and our quant team to enhance system reliability, reduce latency, and resolve complex trade execution scenarios. As part of our distributed team of trading engineers, you'll help build scalable solutions that handle high-throughput order flow while maintaining strict performance requirements across our digital asset trading platform.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Design, implement, test and deploy high performance backend systems and services, including market data connectivity, algorithmic execution, and trade analytic engines.

  • Improve the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of our trading platform.

  • Work with the product team and our clients to deliver solutions that support the full trade lifecycle.

  • Be test driven to ensure strong automated test coverage of our algorithmic trading engine and related components.

  • Own project deliveries; from collaborating on initial designs to implementation and testing.

  • Be part of an open and transparent culture as we grow the team

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in Java, C++, C#, Python, or Go

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field or experience

  • Experience building and working with complex, latency-sensitive, event-driven trading systems, and ideally execution or market making algos.

  • An energetic, creative, and autonomous self-starter 

  • Passionate about using software to solve complex business problems;

  • Strong communication skills
