The Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships plays a critical role in developing, expanding and strengthening AnitaB.org network of partnerships, resulting in high impact corporate revenue generation. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, this role manages the full lifecycle of partnerships, from prospecting and initial outreach to quoting, negotiating, and fulfilling agreements that align with AnitaB.org mission and goals. The Account Manager is the main point of contact for partners and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of partnership commitments, maintaining strong relationships and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
The ideal candidate for this position is proactive and results driven with a background in partnership development or account management within nonprofit or social responsibility sector. They have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cultivate new and existing partner relationships. They have a track-record of high-impact revenue generation that always meets or exceeds targets. Well-organized and detail-oriented, the candidate excels at balancing multiple projects and delivering high-quality outcomes. They have a strategic mindset and are adept at identifying new partnership opportunities and driving initiatives that advance AnitaB.org mission. They have a passion for women and technology, DEIB and are interested in doing meaningful mission-based work.
Here's what you'll do
- Manage the entire life cycle of partnerships, from prospecting and outreach to agreement negotiation, implementation, and fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing partners, ensuring mutual goals are met and identifying opportunities for deeper engagement.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and other materials to prospective partners, effectively communicating the organization’s value and mission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute partnership agreements, coordinating resources and ensuring timely delivery of partnership commitments.
- Identify and qualify new partnership opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Track, analyze and report on partnership performance, providing insights to improve processes and strengthen future collaborations.
- Serve as the primary contact for partners, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues to ensure a seamless partner experience.
- Develop and maintain a robust multi-million-dollar sales pipeline by identifying potential partners, tracking engagement activities, and managing progression of leads through the partnership lifecycle.
- Stay informed on DEI and technology trends that affect the organization and potential partners, using insights to enhance the partnership strategy and maximize impact.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned, which means to be agile and rile to the challenge: in service to our mission, from time to time, we do ask team members to take on, or volunteer to take on, additional or different duties outside of their formal job description.

- 5+ years of experience in partnership development, account management or business development, preferably in the nonprofit sector or corporate social responsibility
- Proven track record of successfully managing the full partnership lifecycle, from prospecting to fulfillment with measurable outcomes.
- The ability to communicate effectively with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, embracing accountability, vulnerability, candor, empathy, and curiosity as the foundations of collaboration and self-development.
- Strong understanding of the tech industry and passion for DEIB.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) with strong analytical skills to track performance and metrics and report on outcomes.
- Proficiency with lead management systems (zoom info, engage, LinkedIn sales navigator).
- Ability to travel as position requires.
AnitaB.org is proud to offer a remote, distributed workplace. Please know we cannot accommodate remote work outside of the United States. The salary range for this position is $102,200 - $109,440, plus incentive compensation and competitive benefits, including health insurance, vision, dental and a 403(b) discretionary match.
