Location Details:
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
What you'll get to do...
As an Adaptive Planning Administrator on the Financial Systems (FinSys) team for GoDaddy, we would like you to focus on Workday Adaptive Planning partnering with our internal customers to unlock innovation, automation and value at GoDaddy. You will be a key partner to our finance teams and play a meaningful role in developing long-term innovative solutions as well as helping to drive strategy and initiatives through automation. This role will offer you the opportunity to work with various finance partners within the organization
- Manage data integrations into Workday Adaptive Planning from Workday Financials, Workday HCM and other source systems as appropriate, serve as primary point of contact for business and IT teams
- Monitor deployment of additional cloud-based functionality/upgrades release by Workday/Adaptive, complete and coordinate testing and communication to key stakeholders
- Manage business rules impacting calculations, allocations and repositories built within Workday Adaptive Planning for the purposes of facilitating the Company's annual budgeting exercise and recurring forecasts
- Plan, review, and revise configurations and customizations to meet evolving business and operational needs
- Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data integrity and standardized end user processes
- Lead internal trainings and regular information sharing activities
- Troubleshoot intermittent data and/or break/fix issues
- Maintain user permissions and role access
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration
- Perform additional tasks related to the administration of Workday Adaptive Planning as needed
Your experience should include...
- In-depth understanding of Workday Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning system
- Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
- Successful candidates for this role will need strong technical aptitude & communication skills with a high level of curiosity to drive new solution developments and improvements
- Well-rounded understanding of business concepts and financial planning & analysis processes
- Strong ability to design financial models within the Adaptive Planning system for ease of use and improved accuracy of the forecast
- In-depth knowledge of system testing and debugging techniques
- Ability to think outside the box to provide creative solutions & system improvements to enhance the finance team forecasting experience while delivering high quality system innovations
- Engages with leadership to ensure priorities align with and support strategic business objectives
- Proactive and works to accomplish critical & difficult tasks supporting business objectives
- Experience with P&L analysis and spreadsheet modeling
