The Sr. Compensation Analyst will support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs. This individual will analyze market data, perform salary benchmarking, and provide guidance on compensation practices to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
Job Summary Details
Compensation Administration:
- Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and incentive programs.
- Prepare and review compensation recommendations for promotions, transfers, and new hires, ensuring consistency with company policies and compensation philosophy.
- Work with the People Team and leaders to provide guidance on base pay offers, adjustments, and compensation-related queries.
Job Evaluation:
- Evaluate new and existing positions, ensuring proper job classification and alignment with the company’s pay structures.
- Review and update job descriptions as needed, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the organization.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct data analysis related to compensation trends, turnover rates, and budget impacts, preparing reports and presentations for HR and leadership teams.
- Monitor compensation metrics and provide insights on pay competitiveness, internal equity, and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate execution of compensation-related changes.
Compensation Analysis and Benchmarking:
- Participate in compensation surveys to gather and analyze market data to assess the competitiveness of the company's pay structures.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking for new positions and existing roles to maintain internal and external equity.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of salary structures and job leveling frameworks.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compensation practices comply with relevant federal, state, and local laws, including FLSA and pay equity requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and auditing processes to ensure adherence to legal standards and company policies.
Employee Communication:
- Assist in the development of communication materials that explain compensation programs to employees, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Collaborate with the People Team to deliver training and guidance on compensation policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree-in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- HR / Compensation certification (CCP, PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
- 4 years' experience in compensation analysis and administration or a combination of compensation and payroll, benefits, or other related area.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Familiarity with compensation laws and regulations, such as FLSA and pay equity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on findings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with compensation tools and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Payfactors, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex compensation concepts to a broad audience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Liberty, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
