Job description

Our client is seeking a talented Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist who is ready for a rewarding challenge that will elevate your career to new heights. In this role, you’ll work with the latest technologies, drive mission-critical projects, and be part of a close-knit, supportive team of brilliant engineers who are passionate about their work.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise to support and sustain critical mission-related software and systems for U.S. Government operations.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Utilize advanced software development skills to enhance operational efficiency and solve complex cryptanalytic challenges.
Communicate effectively with senior data scientists and other team members, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Must Have's:

Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cryptanalysis or a related field.
Skills: Proficiency in software development, with a strong understanding of Python and C++.
Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
Communication: Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have's:

Experience in ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cybersecurity and cryptography.
Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts is a plus.

Location: Linthicum Heights, MD

Salary Range: $50,000 - $120,000 per year.
