Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • 9AM to 6PM Sydney with 1 hr unpaid lunch (40hrs/week)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive E-commerce Specialist to manage and optimize our online presence on both Shopify and Amazon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling product listings, customer communications, competitor research, and image editing to ensure our products are presented in the best possible way. This role requires someone with experience in e-commerce platforms, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for optimizing online sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shopify Management:

    • Set up, maintain, and optimize the Shopify store, ensuring a seamless user experience.
    • Update product listings, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
    • Collaborate with the team to improve website content and aesthetics.
  2. Amazon Product Listing:

    • Create and manage new product listings on Amazon, including writing descriptions, setting up variations, and optimizing keywords.
    • Maintain product listings to ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Monitor and address any listing issues or errors.
  3. Customer Communications:

    • Handle customer inquiries and respond to reviews on Amazon.
    • Resolve any issues or disputes with customers in a professional and timely manner.
    • Engage with customers to enhance the overall shopping experience and encourage positive reviews.
  4. Competitor Research:

    • Conduct research to analyze the pricing, features, and positioning of similar products in the market.
    • Identify trends and opportunities to improve product listings and marketing strategies.
  5. Product Photo Editing:

    • Edit product images using Canva or similar tools to ensure high-quality visuals for online listings.
    • Maintain a consistent and appealing brand image across all product photos.


Requirements
  • Proven experience with Shopify and Amazon seller platforms.
  • Familiarity with photo editing tools like Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent software.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze competitor data.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and SEO for product listings is a plus.
