education and improving the training and education experience of nursing and
allied health students.
 

About the Role

The Private Sector Account Manager works in tandem with a Field Sales Executive on
retention activities and developing customer relationships. Using solution
based selling techniques, the Account Manager will identify customer needs and
demonstrate the full value of the Elsevier suite of products.
 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales representative in a high-paced environment by delivering excellent
    customer service, product presentations and preparing annual reports
  • Negotiating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Maintaining and supporting adoptions of a print/digital portfolio by your customers
    following implementation
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to higher education and C-suite professionals by providing
    in-depth product insight, support and guidance relating to the curriculum
  • Tracking contract renewal status, sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce to achieve
    territory quota
  • Managing student portals, customer ordering systems, and renew custom packages in
    coordination with sales representatives


Requirements

  • Possess prior experience with account management/customer retention/customer engagement
    experience in higher education publishing and/or healthcare sales
  • Demonstrate a passion for driving customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess experience with customer engagement and driving customer adoption
