Your Impact
Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and implementation of large language models (LLMs) for Cerence's software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, product managers, and engineers, to define requirements and specifications for LLM-based features and functionalities.
Develop and optimize algorithms and techniques for training and fine-tuning large language models, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Design and implement software components and modules to integrate LLM capabilities into Cerence's speech recognition and natural language understanding systems.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of LLM-based features to ensure high performance, reliability, and robustness in real-world automotive environments.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing (NLP) technologies, and contribute to research and innovation efforts within the company.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
Proven experience in software development, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and natural language processing.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Solid understanding of large language models (LLMs), deep learning architectures, and NLP techniques.
Experience with training and fine-tuning large language models using large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
