To support Accounts Receivable, your essential job functions will include the following:
- Manage the order entry and invoicing for assigned areas.
- Issue statements to assigned customers.
- Conduct collection efforts in a timely manner on assigned accounts.
- Process and reconcile daily lockbox and credit card payments.
- Perform customer support activities including the establishment of credit limits, releasing held orders and processing warranty/customer account payouts.
- Collaborate with the field and communicate with customers regarding past due balances.
- Assist customers with invoice requests and discrepancy resolution.
- Oversee incentive programs and discounts on invoices to ensure proper invoicing or incentive payouts.
To support Accounts Payable, your essential job functions will include the following:
- Voucher invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Resolve open issues with vendor accounts.
- Audit vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Support Address Book setup for vendor adds and changes; ensure complete vendor set up package for Address Book entry.
- Reconcile cash activity related to payments to ensure proper accounting.
Reporting
- Assist the Accounting Operations teams in the preparation of miscellaneous reports and analysis.
- Prepare monthly aging of receivables and payables reports and comments for management review as assigned.
Administrative Support to Internal/External Customers
- Communicate in a professional manner with vendors, customers, and employees.
- Communicate with vendors regarding shortages, errors or questions on invoices.
- Research invoices/payments for vendors or customers.
Other Duties as Assigned
Position Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in Accounting
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- ERP system experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up on issues
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to achieve goals independently
- Strong communicator and team player with a focus towards customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
