Description:
Looking for a meaningful change?
We are looking for people with strong customer service and administrative skills to join us as Patient Service Representatives (PSR's) in our outpatient clinics. As a PSR with Saint Alphonsus, you have the opportunity to directly impact the experience our patients have when they walk through our doors. Your friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for their visit and confirm they have made the right choice in who to trust with their healthcare concerns.
We have positions open at several of our clinics across the Treasure Valley. If you are interested in working at one of our locations in Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Eagle or Star, apply now and we can discuss available openings. (Interested in Nampa/Caldwell area instead? No problem - click here to be directed to that job posting).
Here's a Peek at the Day To Day:
Using our electronic health record system (EHR), you will check in patients, verify key information, and collect co-pays as needed. You'll keep providers up to date on patient arrivals, and keep patients up to date on any delays and wait times. In between, you'll answer phones, schedule appointments, process referral requests and manage the many moving pieces of information.
What We Are Looking For:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Customer service experience is required and if you have healthcare experience, it's definitely a plus
Familiarity working with an EHR and/or having an understanding of medical terminology is also preferred
