We are seeking an individual with a deep knowledge of modern sales development leadership, someone who is looking to collaborate, bring new ideas and own the success of the US region by supporting the transformation of the SDR function into a world class modern team.

In this position you will be expected to hold a deep understanding on the health of your business, regularly forecast future opportunities, work collaboratively with sales and marketing leaders in the region, providing analysis and insights into the US business. Coaching and the development of second line leadership is essential and while previous experience in second line leadership is not required, demonstrating how to deliver programs through a hands off leadership style utilizing second line managers is expected. 

Responsibilities 
 

● Lead a US team of 18 individual contributors and two managers

● Develop deep collaborative relationships with sales and marketing leadership in the US region

● Coach, train and develop a team of SDR’s and leaders who achieve against targets and strive for growth

● Accountable for successfully meeting target expectations at the US regional level and developing plans for future growth in your business

● Inspire your team at multiple levels to be successful, grow and have fun while providing a safe environment for learning through doing and learning through failure

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years in SDR leadership experience at a Snr Manager level

  • Previous successful experience in an SDR or sales role that required discovery or deep qualification essential

  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, coaching and the development of reps

  • Deep understanding of sales development metrics for success and how to utilize data to impact decision making

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Salesforce reporting, Outreach and other relevant SDR tech stack

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, listener and partner to other leaders

  • Great organizational skills with the ability to multitask, delegate and set priorities

  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and support the wider SDR function at any level when needed

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$184,500.00 - $307,500.00
