This new team serves as the cornerstone and a center of gravity for our quality practices aiming to set and maintain high standards across our products and processes. The team will work with key stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), enhance testing methodologies, and align our practices with industry and customer expectations, we seek to set a new standard of quality that establishes HERE as an industry leader.
Within this broader initiative, the to be build Quality Transformation & Analytics Team plays a critical role. By collaborating across our value chain, we identify high-impact opportunities for improvement, support program management and ensure results are delivered and deliver clear, actionable insights that resonate with both customers and employees and enable proactive management decision making
The Role
In this senior-level role as a Sr. Quality Improvement Manager, you will act as a consultant and program lead, driving critical quality initiatives identified by the Quality Improvement Council. With a focus on results and impact, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across HERE to define problem statements, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for quality improvement. Your work will directly support our mission to re-establish quality as a core element of HERE's operations, creating a high-impact blueprint for excellence that resonates throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration - Work independently to engage with stakeholders, define improvement opportunities, and gather input from subject matter experts to shape and propel quality initiatives forward.
- Program Leadership - Lead end-to-end program initiatives, managing all aspects from inception to delivery. Monitor progress, provide updates, and escalate issues to maintain momentum and ensure successful outcomes.
- Process Improvement – Work with subject matter experts to leverage process design, mapping, and optimization skills (Lean methodologies) to draft, propose, and implement quality improvements.
- Prototyping & Proof of Concept - Demonstrate a proactive, curious approach with the ability to create prototypes or proofs of concept that showcase potential improvements in quality processes.
- Data Analysis & Insights - Use strong analytical skills to perform data discovery, identify patterns, and produce insights that guide strategic decision-making. Create clear, compelling narratives from complex data.
Who are you?:
- Analytical and Strategic - Proficient in data and process analysis, with experience in tools like Tableau and dashboarding for insightful reporting.
- Results-Oriented & Proactive - Demonstrates a dynamic, curious mindset, with a focus on actionable, data-driven outcomes.
- Skilled Communicator - Strong communication skills, including proficiency in multimedia and presentation tools (PPT), to deliver accessible and compelling narratives.
- Project Management Expert - Experienced in handling complex, cross-functional projects, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience, including driving cross-functional initiatives with impactful results.
- Strong understanding of location-based services, navigation systems, and software solutions for the automotive industry.
- Proven experience in evaluating, defining, and redesigning business and operational processes to improve quality, productivity, and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
