Your Impact

As a Product Manager for Real-Time Integrations at Axon, you will play a critical role in empowering first responders by integrating a wide range of third-party products, devices, and sensors into our platform. Your work will drive the delivery of real-time information from sources such as cameras, drones, vehicles, alarm systems, and GPS trackers, enabling first responders and dispatchers to make faster, more informed decisions. You’ll also be responsible for enabling Axon’s own data and devices, including Fusus cameras, body-worn cameras and vehicle cameras, to appear in 3P partner products, ensuring seamless collaboration between public safety agencies and their communities.

Your expertise will be key to managing the full lifecycle of third-party integrations. From engaging and educating technology providers to overseeing the technical design and implementation of integrations, you’ll ensure that our platform delivers the right information to the right users at the right time. You will work cross-functionally with product design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that the platform remains robust and scalable, capable of evolving to meet customer needs and emerging technologies. Additionally, you’ll play a strategic role in deciding when to expand the platform’s capabilities or optimize existing features.

 
What You’ll Do 

Location:  Work from home as much as you want, live nearby any of our awesome US R&D Hubs (Seattle, Scottsdale, Atlanta, or Boston) so you can easily collab in-person when it’s helpful and be an active part of our vibrant Axon culture.

Success in this role will require deep knowledge of IoT, real-time data pipelines, and video streaming technologies, along with a proven ability to build scalable solutions for thousands of users. You'll need to have a strong understanding of first responders, their operational environments, and the challenges they face. By aligning technical capabilities with user needs, your work will have a lasting impact, improving the efficiency of public safety operations and helping communities worldwide stay safer.

  • Product sense: proven ability to create solutions that match user needs. A mindset of wanting to dig into, find root causes, arm themselves with data, and understand key patterns and insights from multiple role points of view
  • Business sense: proven ability to engage in the sales process, define the right metrics and goals for their product, and deliver ongoing improvements to a business metric over a sustained period of time.
  • Customer focus: proven ability to understand customer and buyer needs and work backward from customer outcomes to define the right solutions
  • Research: proven ability to conduct end-to-end research on a new product and build strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Execution: proven ability to focus on the most impactful features, analyze data, develop an execution strategy, and orchestrate teams to deliver on time
 
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Software Product Management experience of high scale services with proven results driving revenue, engagement, and customer delight.
  • Prior experience in Enterprise Video Management Software, Physical Security Information Management PSIM), and/or Military or Public Safety Market SaaS products with direct external customer interaction
  • Previous experience successfully incorporating multiple third-party products (e.g., cameras, GPS trackers, drones) into a unified platform.
  • Experience leading full lifecycle integrations with external partners, from initial engagement to final implementation.
  • Previous experience presenting to senior-level audiences, including C-suite, internally and to customers.
  • Experience navigating challenges related to differing technical architectures, requirements, and timelines across third-party systems.
  • Experience managing the backlog, including ticket authoring, grooming, sprint planning, and pruning.
  • Experience improving product development process fundamentals, both identifying problems in execution and suggesting proven ways to improve execution

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 124,200 in the lowest geographic market and USD 198,720 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
