The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer with strong experience with HTML,CSS, LitElement and/or React, and TypeScript to work with our team to develop our core Web Application.

We are a collaborative team that strongly believes in taking the learner's mindset to everything we do. We strive to have a culture defined by long term grit. We lay out the problems we are trying to solve together and make practical tradeoffs to ship in the short term and build a stronger company for the long term.

What You'll Do 

• Create and manage Typescript components and libraries 
• Writing out technical specifications for large features
• Ensure styling matches our Figma Mock Ups in color, spacing, fonts.
• Create HTML View ERB Templates for Rails app and integrate them into our Rails application

What We Look For

• 7+ years' experience building and maintaining production level systems
• Strong experience with Lit, React, and TypeScript (Experience with Javascript Custom Elements or other native DOM APIs is also acceptable)
• Experience building SaaS software dashboards and admin interfaces

Nice to have

• Experience with Lit
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks

The estimated salary for this role is up to $170,000 CAD or $160,000 USD. The total compensation will also include a meaningful variable component and equity in the company. Final base salary decisions will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors unique to each candidate, such as the individual’s skill set, depth of experience, and qualifications.
