We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deal Desk Team Manager to join our Finance Operations team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our deal desk operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, finance, and legal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deal desk operations, with 5-10 years of direct experience, and will thrive in a "player/coach" role, balancing hands-on work with leadership responsibilities.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the deal desk team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Act as a "player/coach," actively participating in deal structuring and negotiations while also overseeing the team's performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to streamline deal processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze and optimize deal desk workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance deal desk operations and support business growth.
  • Prepare and present reports on deal desk performance to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the deal desk remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of direct experience in deal desk operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Preferred experience in Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad.
