Are you ready to help craft the future of digital gaming at Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro? As the Director, Product Roadmap (Digital Games), you will play a pivotal role in paving the way to meet our Digital Games Publishing ambitions. What You'll Do: 
  • Update and Enhance Greenlight Process:
  • Refresh and strengthen Wizards’ digital games greenlight and stage gate process.
  • Collaborate with internal studios and Wizards/Hasbro Partners to document decisions, track requirements, and manage expectations throughout each stage of our portfolio's lifecycle.
  • Formulate, supervise, and adjust stage gate criteria to align with Wizards' business needs, ensuring that Studios and Partners comprehend and strictly abide by our Greenlight Process.
  • Record decisions, assign action points, and follow up to ensure clear and timely accountability.
  • Foster Collaboration across touch points:
  • Promote a strong culture of collaboration across internal departments, units, and companies, as well as with external entities such as vendors and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with various teams in the Digital Gaming organization to ensure consistent and clear visibility for internal Stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro to identify and account for non-digital games needs & priorities to meet our overall business goals.
  • Constantly seek out risks to mitigate and identify solutions to evolve our processes, methods, and practices.
  • Work with Digital Games and Wizards management to define and establish additional project tracking needs beyond Stage Gates.
  • Provide regular updates around cost, schedule, and risk levels to ensure flawless execution and improve predictability of outcomes.

 

What You'll Bring: 
  • 10+ years in video games development and publishing roles, across platforms and business models.
  • Familiarity with multiple business models, including traditional retail (digital & physical), F2P, and GaaS.
  • 3+ years managing greenlight or stage gates in the video game industry, or in the entertainment business.
  • Strong financial, business, and video game development/publishing knowledge.
  • Comfortable dealing with all levels of seniority, from entry point to C-Suite.
  • Global Perspective: good knowledge of global publishing frameworks.
  • Curious and adaptable: comfortable navigating ambiguity, and solution driven. Capacity to inspire change, anticipate obstacles, and discover innovative solutions.
  • Outstanding Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient and diplomatic.

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD: 
  • Starting Pay Range: $164,200
  • Pay Range End: $304,900
