Job description

RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

Join the fastest-growing healthcare company in Canada! Spark is currently looking for individuals who are well-connected in the healthcare and social services industries to continue the expansion of Spark services across Ontario.

In this role, we are looking for someone knowledgeable and decisive, with excellent communication skills to facilitate the matching process between candidates and clients. We want every interaction our potential candidates have to leave them feeling positive about the process and reinforce that Spark* is an incredible workplace.

Specifically, you would have responsibilities in these areas:

  • Interviews: Arrange, schedule, and conduct initial virtual interviews with potential candidates to determine Spark* Culture Fit

  • Communication: Effective and regular communication with:
    • Candidates regarding their application status

    • Care Partners regarding matching status for client care

    • Spark Administration regarding required documents and onboarding cues

  • Data Tracking/Administration: Organizing confidential candidate information, tracking applicant and candidate patterns over time, and ensuring the completion of necessary paperwork prior to client care

  • Innovation: Being creative with how confidential client information is communicated, growing the recruitment processes to align with company growth, and providing a different approach to healthcare workers

  • Implement AI-driven solutions to streamline and enhance the candidate screening process, ensuring a more efficient and user-friendly experience

  • Monitor recruitment trends to develop and implement hiring strategies that align with the Spark’s growth objectives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to strengthen recruitment efforts and expand the candidate pool to meet hiring needs.


What do you need to be successful in this role?

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills, knowledge, and abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both internally with our current Caregivers, Care Partners, Therapists, and Administration, and externally with applicants and candidates hoping to gain a role in our organization

  • A desire to innovate and be creative with the technology that we use, how we use it, and the willingness to learn new technology and softwares

  • Stellar interpersonal skills, with a track record of success in contributing to organizational culture and creating positive relationships

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize immediate tasks and adapt to new challenges


You would be the most successful at this job if:

  • You are detail-oriented and are able to make each interaction with applicants, candidates, caregivers, and leadership meaningful and impactful

  • You are flexible and open to expanding your recruitment and administration knowledge on home healthcare and community engagement.

  • You have 3-4 years of experience with recruitment and are able to troubleshoot complex issues as they arise, act decisively and kindly, and have a desire to innovate and create cutting-edge processes.

Monday-Friday 8a-4p

RATE OF PAY

$23-25.78/hr
