Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced EDI Specialist to optimize our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations and enhance the integration between our order fulfillment and third-party logistics systems. The ideal candidate will focus on process improvements and automation, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. This role is critical to driving efficiency in our supply chain operations by integrating our systems with SPS Commerce and NetSuite while partnering closely with our logistics, distribution, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities:

  • EDI Implementation: Manage the setup and configuration of EDI transactions, including mapping, testing, and validation.
  • Data Management: Monitor, analyze, and resolve EDI transaction errors; ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, procurement, and supply chain teams to support EDI initiatives and resolve any integration issues.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot EDI-related issues; provide support to internal users and trading partners as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing EDI processes to recommend enhancements and optimize workflows.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on EDI transactions to provide insights and improve performance. Monitor EDI transactions and generate reports to maintain visibility on order status, addressing any disruptions in real-time.
  • Compliance: Ensure EDI operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for optimizing and troubleshooting our SPS Commerce EDI platform, including setting up processes to automate order flows and reduce manual interventions.
  • Support ongoing integration projects with NetSuite, ensuring compatibility and streamlined data flow between systems.
  • Developing and aligning processes to ensure standardization across new partnerships.
  • Ensure data accuracy in EDI processes and coordinate with analytics to inform decision-making and process adjustments.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with EDI systems, specifically with SPS Commerce and NetSuite.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize EDI processes, preferably within a logistics or supply chain setting.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience in generating and interpreting reports to drive process improvements.
  • Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) integrations and best practices in supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and train others.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
