Business Development Executive - Remote

DISHER is currently partnering with a company that designs and implements end-to-end service supply chain strategies for expanding high-tech companies on their need for a Business Development Executive. In this role, you will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the service logistics sector. You will have a consultative approach, focusing on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to ensure targeted and efficient prospecting.

What you will get to do:
  • Prospect and Qualify Leads: Develop and execute a plan to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within defined ICPs in the service logistics sector.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage in consultative engagement discussions to thoroughly understand clients’ logistics needs, challenges, and objectives, and propose tailored solutions that address these effectively.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with solutions, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure the proposed solutions are within Flash and the customer’s needs and requirements.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach target clients, leveraging market insights and sales analytics.
  • Meet or Exceed Sales Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through proactive business development activities. Prepare and present proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in service logistics to provide clients with relevant insights and advice.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools and prepare regular sales reports for management review.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding market trends, competitors, and potential challenges that the client might face.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate various factors and assess how different solutions might impact the client’s business.
  • Patience and Persistence: Longer sales cycle will require multiple meetings and interactions. Patience and persistence are key to nurturing prospects through the decision-making process.
  • Adaptability: No two clients or situations are the same. Ability to tailor their approach based on the client’s personality, preferences, and changing needs, enhancing the overall client experience.
  • Data and Analytics Skills: Able to analyze existing information and interpret data to inform recommendations, and solution constructs. An excellent grasp of metrics like ROI, cost-benefit analyses, and market trends to bolster their proposals and build credibility.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
