The Business Process Manager will be a member of the “Expand” (Extreme Process Analytics and Data Governance) team and is responsible for designing and rolling out business process transformations to the rest of the Extreme enterprise.
As the manager, you will lead strategic business process transformations that support various business departments, finding opportunities for improvements and implementing changes that increase efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. You will partner with the data and analytics teams to assist with adoption of new insights and data to drive operational changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Domain Expertise
• Evaluate existing business processes to identify and implement areas for improvement through process optimizations, ensuring all teams are aligned on the changes and successful adoption.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, overseeing the entire lifecycle from ideation, user testing, to implementation, partnering with stakeholders across the business.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of how business stakeholders use critical systems (e.g. Oracle CPQ, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce) and identify automation opportunities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flows, data flows, and relevant user guides.
• Support business in adoption of new insights, reports, and data in their day-to-day operations and contribute to requirements for actionable reports and data.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Optimize coordination with upstream and downstream business teams and systems for a streamlined end-to-end operational process.
• Partner with analytics and governance pillars within the Expand Team to uncover patterns, trends, and inform on opportunities for optimization for how the business analyzes data and aligns on common terminology.
• Partner with department heads across the enterprise in the design and delivery of cross-functional programs.
Solutioning and Leadership
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment on an objective with clear actions and outcomes.
• Align to the overall business architecture for cross-department processes, designing sub-processes in coordination with an overall goal.
• Both lead others and work independently in the design and delivery of programs, providing directional guidance based on domain expertise to team members for collective advancement of prioritized outcomes.
Team Operations and Planning
• Assist in itemizing and refining the backlog of stories and epics in support of delivering the program’s objectives, including planning activities to size and scope of the level of effort.
• Provide updates at the story and epic level on progress, risks and mitigation strategies, milestones, and outcomes through the various agile meetings, including stand-ups, planning, refinement, and stakeholder readouts.
People Management
• Support growth and development of people, identifying promotion paths and performance improvement needs.
Qualifications
Skills
• Strong business analysis skills to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, with a track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
• Ability to ascertain clarity from ambiguous situations and work independently in a fast pace every changing environment
• Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to both business and technical stakeholders, with demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills to present compelling recommendations.
• Ability to drive change through collaboration and influence across multiple stakeholders with varied perspectives.
Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience working in a similar process-improvement related role that leverages solutions across CRM, CPQ, ERP or HCM technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and rolling out processes which leverage at least one of the following technologies: Oracle Suite (EBS, Fusion, HCM, SMC, CPQ) or Salesforce.
• 2+ years of experience with people leadership, both in the execution of work and the growth and development of people.
• Understanding of the Quote to Cash processes.
• Experience working in an agile environment with Jira is a plus.
• Comfort with using process documentation tools, e.g. Lucid Chart, Excel, and PowerPoint.
