About the Role:
As Plume’s Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brand's vision to life through compelling visual content. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity and ability to align with Plume Health’s brand and business goals. You will confidently create eye-catching graphics and engaging motion graphics for various platforms, ensuring brand consistency while staying ahead of design trends. A collaborative spirit, attention to detail, and proficiency in design software are essential for this role, which offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to influence our brand identity.
Responsibilities:Develop and execute visually engaging designs for digital marketing & community & wellness campaigns, web, social media, and email newsletters.Create high-quality graphics for print materials, including brochures, flyers, and banners.Produce and edit motion graphics and videos to enhance marketing efforts.Collaborate with the Growth & Membership team to design promotional materials that support brand initiatives.Manage the process of designing and updating the company website and landing pages.Ensure brand consistency across all visual content and marketing collateral.Conduct regular design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine and enhance designs.Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to keep our visual content fresh and relevant.Develop and maintain a library of graphic assets, ensuring easy access for the marketing team.Analyze the performance of visual content and make data-driven adjustments to improve engagement.Collaborate with external vendors and freelancers when needed for specialized projects.Maintain a project timeline to ensure timely delivery of graphic assets.Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for campaigns.Document design processes and maintain organized files for easy reference.Support the overall growth & membership strategy by providing creative insights and solutions.Must-Haves:A strong understanding and appreciation for the trans experience.3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects.Experience in creating and editing motion graphics and videos.Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.Familiarity with digital marketing channels and best practices.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Experience in creating graphics for both print and digital mediums.Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback into design work.Nice to Haves:Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for web design.Experience in a fast-paced startup environment or agency.Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, After Effects, Premiere Pro).Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and Payload.Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Active Campaign and Hubspot.Background in branding and visual identity development.Understanding of analytics tools to assess the performance of visual content.Experience with photography or illustration.Interest in staying current with design and marketing trends.Applications for this role will be accepted until November 15th, 2024.
