Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Building
     Lead efforts to identify and engage both active and passive candidates using a wide range of sourcing methods. This includes leveraging professional platforms like LinkedIn, niche job boards, social media, industry events, and innovative networking strategies. Your goal will be to continuously build a pipeline of highly qualified candidates, ensuring we have access to top talent for both current and future needs.
  • Collaboration with HR & Stakeholders
     Work closely with HR colleagues and business leaders to align sourcing strategies with organizational hiring needs. By building a deep understanding of key roles, business objectives, and team culture, you will tailor your sourcing efforts to attract the most suitable candidates, while also ensuring that the process is aligned with long-term talent goals.
  • Candidate Screening & Qualification
     Conduct thorough prescreening of applicants by reviewing resumes, qualifications, and credentials to ensure candidates meet the necessary skills and experience required for each role. Your attention to detail and ability to identify top talent will ensure a highly efficient and effective hiring process.
  • Maintaining Accurate Candidate Data & Search Documentation
     Manage candidate data and recruitment metrics meticulously within the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for all candidates. By maintaining well-organized documentation, you will support the integrity of the hiring process and contribute to the overall success of recruitment initiatives.
  • Exceptional Candidate Experience
     Provide a high-touch, candidate-centric experience throughout the entire hiring process. This includes engaging candidates with clear, transparent communication, providing timely feedback, and ensuring they feel valued and respected. A key part of this role is nurturing long-term relationships, even with candidates who may not be hired immediately, creating a positive and lasting impression of our brand.
  • Engagement of Passive Talent
     Be strategic in identifying and engaging passive candidates—those not actively seeking new roles but who may be highly interested in future opportunities. By cultivating ongoing relationships with passive talent through personalized outreach, you will build a strong talent pipeline that supports the organization's evolving hiring needs.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Focus
     Actively contribute to the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts by sourcing candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds and ensuring that diverse talent is given equal consideration throughout the recruitment process.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion
     Handle sensitive candidate information and searches with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. You will often manage searches for critical or high-level roles, and your ability to protect candidates’ privacy while maintaining transparency and integrity is essential.
  • Seamless Onboarding Coordination
     Work closely with management and the onboarding team to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new hires, helping to set them up for long-term success within the organization. By maintaining strong communication, you’ll ensure that every new hire’s experience is seamless and aligned with their expectations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2+ years in executive recruiting, either in-house or with a retained search firm.
  • Proven experience with executive search protocols for VP, SVP, C-Suite, and confidential roles.
  • Knowledge of search protocols for mid-level management, support and entry level roles. 
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level executive searches simultaneously with successful outcomes.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees from field employees to senior executive leaders.
  • Ability to adapt recruiting engagements to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience in corporate recruiting or a retained search firm environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture candidate pipelines for active and passive searches.
  • Strong consultation skills with the ability to influence.
  • Ability to use market trends and intelligence to influence the recruiting process.
  • Deep understanding of executive compensation, non-compete implications, and negotiating compensation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Recruiting experience in the construction industry and/or similar services industries.
