Job Description
As a Senior Principal Consultant working as an integral part of a project team, you will contribute to and lead all phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will play a customer-facing role and be involved in Requirement Analysis, Business Process Documentation & Solution Design. You will work with and guide your project team to develop, configure and deploy the solution, and ensure project processes and deliverables in your area are met. In addition to project related activities, you will also manage and contribute to proposal development, demonstrating the application to potential customers and play an important role in building our WMS capabilities and offerings.
As an experienced consultant you will be a self-starter and have strong functional skills in the implementation of Oracle WMS Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries. You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of our premier consulting firm working on the cutting edge of Cloud Implementations. You will work across a wide variety of customers and play a key role in some of the most exciting Supply Chain implementations across Europe.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3+ Years of functional experience delivering Warehouse Management Implementations involving Oracle Cloud WMS.
- At least 2 full Oracle Cloud WMS Implementations cycles.
- 10+ Years proven track record delivering Warehouse Management applications.
- Experience leading streams of work and delegating/ managing small teams of consultants both on-shore and off-shore.
- Ability to multi-task and to and work independently.
- Specific experience in Warehouse Processes such as Receiving, Put-away rules, Picking strategies, Cross-docking, Kitting and Expiry date management.
- Demonstrated experience in Solution Design, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Configuration Documentation, Troubleshooting and Integration Architecture.
- Experience working with technical teams for Interface design, development and testing.
- Strong client facing, communication and client management skills.
- A good understanding of Application Implementation methodologies.
- Ability to travel to client sites.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in integrating Oracle Cloud WMS with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or other on premise/ cloud applications.
- Strong domain knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes with which WMS interacts.
- Experience in other Oracle Cloud SCM products e.g. Inventory Management, Order Management.
- Experience in pre-sales activities such as conducting Proof of Concepts & Configuring Sand-box environments for functionality demonstrations, and the ability to present proposals and business process information to both technical and business audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Oracle Cloud WMS Implementation Certification.
- Security Clearance or the ability to achieve it.
