Oracle Planning Functional Analyst

 

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fusion Planning Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing Oracle Fusion Planning solutions, including modules like Fusion Supply Planning, Fusion Demand Planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class planning solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Fusion applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Oracle Fusion Planning Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Planning solutions, including modules such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and work closely with stakeholders to align Oracle Fusion Planning functionalities with business requirements.
  • Configuration & Customization: Configure Oracle Fusion modules to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Oracle Fusion Planning modules with other Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications like Procurement, Manufacturing.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver user training and prepare system documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
  • Testing & Validation: Lead system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful deployment.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any technical or functional challenges that arise.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time.

 

Requirements 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Planning or Oracle E-Business Suite Planning modules.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Demand and Supply Planning processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically in Planning modules such as Supply Chain Planning (SCP), Demand Planning, Production Scheduling etc.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud Planning solutions, configuration, and integration with other modules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to map business processes to system functionality.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle technical tools (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Education and Qualifications

Preferred Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering, Master’s in Computer Applications, or equivalent from a reputed institute. Any certification in Oracle Cloud SCM Certification (or related certifications) OR Oracle Fusion Planning Functional Certification is preferred but Optional.
