Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlight: 

  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Central with an hour unpaid break

Scope:

  • Manage high-volume phone lines efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinate with legal assistants and attorneys to ensure smooth client communication
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area
  • Assist with light clerical duties as needed
  • Contribute to a positive client experience from the first point of contact
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Central with an hour unpaid break
Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming phone calls and greet office visitors in both English and Spanish
  • Manage and maintain the firm’s calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Handle basic client inquiries and direct complex issues to appropriate staff members
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail management
  • Assist with translation and interpretation when needed for Spanish-speaking clients

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology, preferably in personal injury law
