Job Description

Title: Retirement Plan - Client Relations Specialist

Location: Hybrid - Kansas City, MO or Braintree, MA

Get To Know The Team: Provides daily client support and prepares clients for project/product implementation. Develops client solutions and manages associated tasks within own division. Analyzes root cause, understands the scope and impact of a problem, and prioritizes and escalates issues appropriately. Gathers information to produce internal and external reporting. Reviews client-documented procedures and provides change recommendations; upon client approval, creates internal procedures and publishes/maintains it in the appropriate system. Demonstrates proficient business, product, and tool knowledge and is able to support a greater number of more complex clients. Assists with Request for Proposals and participates in development initiatives that cross the organization.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Act as a primary point of client contact to coordinate resolution of service incidents and escalation of technical issues.
  • Collaborates with sales and support groups to demonstrate value of support offering to client and identify opportunities for expanded support business.
  • Intermediate professional working on projects of a moderate scope or on varied tasks that require resourcefulness, self-initiative, and significant independent judgement.
  • Demonstrates a developing functional knowledge to evaluate the implications of issues and make recommendations for solutions. 
  • Guides less experienced team members.
  • May recommend new procedures.
  • Anticipate, research, and solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with others for continuous learning and knowledge share opportunities.
  • Support several TRAC BPO clients with report management, invoicing and projects.

What You Will Bring:

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work-related experience or 4 years equivalent work-related experience   
  • Customer Service experience with 2-4 years related directly to the financial services or retirement services preferred. 
  • Abilities to analyze and problem-solving, communication; written and verbal, interpersonal skills and attention to details
  • Efficient time management with strong organizational abilities and an agile-mindset
  • Collaborate with less experienced team members while providing guidance. 
  • Knowledge of SS&C products, services, and service practices to provide superior customer services
  • Able to work in the local office 4-6 days per month.
