About the team
As a Senior Art Director (Social-Led and Culture-First), you will play a pivotal role in crafting Zillow's social and cultural presence through innovative and visually compelling social first and culturally impactful campaigns. You will be at the forefront of creative ideation, crafting presentations and inspiring the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration while ensuring that our content resonates with our target audience on a cultural level.
About the role
We are seeking a candidate that can enrich the team with the following;
- Audience-Centric Executions: Develop visually appealing and culturally relevant creative assets that resonate with our audience, staying updated on the latest trends and social changes.
- Social Media Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and methodologies to build visually engaging content tailored to specific platforms.
- Creative Partnership: Collaborate with copywriters, designers, art directors and other team members to develop pitch presentations, cohesive and innovative campaigns, while inspiring and mentoring junior team members.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Continuously explore new technologies and techniques to create ground breaking content and push the boundaries of design to engage audiences.
- Cultural Obsession: Has a deep passion for design, music, sports, and culture, staying up-to-date on trends and emerging subcultures to inform your creative work.
- Visual Storytelling: Can craft compelling narratives through visual content that resonates with audiences on an emotional level.
- Collaborative Leader: Can work successfully with team members and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals and own work streams from concept to execution.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
Established track record in a Senior Art Director capacity, emphasizing expertise in social media and campaigns that reflect current cultural influences.
Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional art direction and design skills and understanding of visual storytelling.
Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Figma, Google Suite and AI.
Ability to create content for various platforms.
Strong understanding of cultural trends and insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify new opportunities and drive projects forward.
Continuously seek out new knowledge and skills to stay ahead of industry trends, such new platforms, standard processes and generative AI.
