The Data Developer works closely with other developers and regulatory analysts with a focus on the regulatory data and business layer of large applications. The incumbent will develop and support the data product solutions which provide key information to the business layer of multiple large applications.

What you’ll do

The Data Developer will work closely with other developers as well as regulatory analysts. The individual will handle regulatory data using programming. The programmer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data products in which they will provide essential information for major solutions.

  • Design, estimate, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and integrate software into the existing platform based on market and technical requirements;
  • Update our database using data from our suppliers through various methods (e.g., C# and SQL queries)

What you’ll need

  • Asset: HTML, ASP, VB, VBScript, Oracle, GIT;
  • Organized, autonomous;
  • Curious nature; attentive to details;
  • Good communicator;
  • Ability in analysis and documentation writing;
  • Self-taught (able to learn new technologies on their own, proactive in finding answers instead of waiting for them to be provided).
  • Knowledge of the chemical industry,
  • Ability to read other languages (data is in more than 45 different languages).

Required Education:

  • University degree or equivalent in computer science.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming such as C#;
  • Experience with SQL;
  • Knowledge of big data.
