Brown & Brown is seeking a Policy Forms Analyst II for our team in Tampa, Florida.

Orchid Underwriters Agency (Orchid), a member of the Brown & Brown National Programs family.

This position is responsible for all activities related to forms management within the Personal Lines team. As a Policy Forms Analyst II, this individual will be responsible for analysis, development, filing (as applicable) and implementation of all policy insurance forms. This individual works closely with the product management team and underwriting group to continue to strengthen policy form language and improve underwriting results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Drafting, filing (as applicable), and implementation of forms, ensuring that forms adhere to system and regulatory requirements as well as organizational standards.
  • Write business requirements and complete user acceptance testing of form-related product changes as they move through the product revision cycle into production.
  • UAT (user acceptance testing) – Review specific changes are working as designed for forms changes
  • Analyze content, properly format, and coordinate referencing to related forms.
  • Assist with creation of policy form language as needed
  • Research and evaluate state insurance laws, regulations, bulletins, and competitors’ offerings.
  • Implement form changes accurately and timely to maintain compliance and deliver competitive products in the market.
  • Review claim files, consult with various members of the claims teams for adherence to policy guidelines and limitations.
  • Monitor claim activity and loss ratios to identify new trends.
  • Participate in new product research and development, as needed.
  • Auditing production, post deployment of system updates for all policy forms during the policy life cycle
  • Provide coverage analysis for underwriting, product team, carriers when looking at pressing issues in todays market.
  • Assist with manual editing of forms for tickets that do not have an immediate fix. (When form updates require manual editing, execute on Manual editing of forms)
  • Assist with recoveries of policies when we discover issue within system
  • Development of business requirements and presentations to support user training and system implementation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in related work experience in the insurance industry.
  • Minimum of 2 plus years personal lines, homeowners product development, commercial lines, underwriting, claims, or related experience.
  • Experience with drafting language for policy forms and endorsements is a plus.
  • High degree of familiarity with ISO forms commonly used in homeowners, dwelling fire, or commercial residential programs is a plus; capacity to pick up the language.
  • Proven ability to execute testing of product rules and form revisions through the UAT cycle a plus.
  • Experience coordinating and maintaining pertinent compliance documentation for product revisions.
  • Good project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communicator, to team members, company leaders, carrier partners, agents, and regulators.
  • Skilled at setting and delivering on a product plan with timelines, metrics, and quality standards.
  • Proficient in Word, Adobe, Nitro, and Excel.
  • Superior research skills.

Pay Range

$63,140.00 - $90,860 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
