Position Summary
The Federal Work Study position is a part-time, student worker opportunity with National University. The student will provide general support and assistance to the Online Learning and Instructional Support Department and will work on special projects as assigned and in alignment with the student’s stated interests and career goals.
Essential Functions:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data entry, auditing, proofreading, and editing documents, invoicing, and other related duties.
- Supports the development, curation, organization, and distribution of instructional support resources for faculty and student use (rev. 10/16/2024)
- Performs routine general office duties as assigned, with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
- Must be a current National University student who has completed a current FAFSA.
- Ability to work up to 20 hours per week with a varied working schedule.
- Must be willing and able to handle material in a confidential matter.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in customer service, administrative assistance, or a general office setting.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Demonstrated skills in processing and organizing data.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and work well with a team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency. Compensation Range:
Hourly: $17.00 - $19.00
