Job Description

In this role you will support the Distribution Intelligence suite of services including U.S. WalletShare, Advisory Practice Analysis (APA) and Predictive Alternatives. As these services continue to grow an additional senior data services professional is needed in order to maintain a high degree of client engagement and satisfaction. This role will manage client requests and issues, research and own the communication back to clients. Working with members of the data team collaborate with other internal groups including product management, analytics and technology.  Support new initiatives and enhancements as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily and ad hoc support to internal and external clients.
  • Lead smaller scoped projects or portions of larger, more complex projects.
  • Support Product Manager Distribution Intelligence Data Services (Product Manager) on data processing questions, issues & enhancements from clients
  • Lead client calls (when needed) to receive feedback, provide information on how data is processed by SS&C
  • Engage with clients during data acquisition period – working through data issues, learning and understanding client data structure downstream, communicate with internal WalletShare team on potentially issues/changes to client data and how that may impact us, etc.
  • Work through support requests with input from Product Manager and ensure timely resolution of queries and data issues
  • Provide guidance for the team on best practices to improve team efficiency
  • Perform complex data analysis and research for clients and be able to explain results and make appropriate recommendations – aka client-centric solutions not just simply finding the issue
  • Collaborate with Product Manager on data processing, validation and automation enhancements
  • Lead onboarding of new WalletShare clients utilizing SS&C SalesConnect
  • Assist in onboarding of new non-SalesConnect clients
  • Track market share progress in conjunction with Support Team
  • Incoming/outgoing file inventory – ensuring receipt and delivery of all required market share files
  • Point person for all data related items – internally & externally - when needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams across the organization to meet and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications Required:

  • 3-5 years in similar data management analyst roles
  • BA required
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal and external audiences
  • Strong background in data products in financial services
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
