Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Job Introduction:
At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization company specializing in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and developing diverse facets of Parexel AI Labs’ software platform and data infrastructure to facilitate creating and maintaining robust, large-scale machine learning systems, and responsive web applications. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and help us drive innovation.
Who we are looking for:
Innovative individuals with proven experience working as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role. Who are passionate and knowledgeable in large scale data processing, cloud infrastructure, and can collaborate with the team of software engineers and machine learning engineers to improve and maintain the infrastructure used to support our customer solutions. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills.
What you’ll do:
- Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure and supported applications, to ensure security, performance, and availability of production systems.
- Design and manage cloud management solutions, including configurations, automation, notifications, and reporting.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for our cloud-based applications and ML/NLP infrastructure, including planning, requirements, development, testing and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, and document problems, and implement preventative measures.
- Create and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation to enable other engineers to utilize the stack.
- Partner with the team to improve, expand, and enhance integration and deployments of cloud infrastructure and tooling.
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, management, and operations.
- Review and improve the code of other engineers to enhance quality and security.
Technical Tools: Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive experience with Python/Go at a SaaS company, familiarity with multiple asynchronous data processing patterns with robust monitoring, logging and reliability, critical experience working on AWS stack, experience with build and CI/CD systems and proficiency with packaging and deploying docker based applications on Kubernetes. Bachelor’s level in engineering or computer science or other relevant qualification/experience is required.
