POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and enhancements of existing and new technology for the call centers. This position also assists in the decision making process for any new technology.
NECESSARY CONTACTS:
This position will work closely with IT, BET, Marketing and Call Center Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics or other analytical field is required. Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
Work Experience
- Minimum of three years of professional programming/analysis experience to develop an understanding of program interfaces, a broad and thorough understanding of computer equipment, programming techniques, improved programming technology, applications, etc. required
- Sharepoint 2007/2010, C# , VB.net, Crystal reporting, SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of production operations, quality practices, and client service required.
Skills and Abilities
- Must have experience with operational analysis, design and understanding of integrated, interdependent, and interfaced systems and their impacts on each other.
- Has demonstrated creativity in assignments and leadership in technical field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to mentor other team members, educate various levels of business users with the system knowledge.
- Demonstrable ability to lead, organize, and prioritize multiple small projects and associated resources.
- High degree of analytical ability to analyze project objectives, develop technical requirements, analyze severity of problems and the need to escalate to management or employ external services. Ability to solve and analyze logical problems such as may be found in mathematics, statistics, etc.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assess available technologies and create detailed technical specifications or data models for development of new or modifications to existing internal applications or systems.
- Develop and maintain internal systems or applications involving a wide variety of programming and languages. Develops, maintains, and/or approves appropriate documentation to support identified record-keeping and change control of core and integrated systems design and implementation.
- Modify, repair, or expand existing programs, applications, and systems to correct errors, increase efficiency, upgrade interfaces, or improve performance.
- Perform and/or assist with testing and analysis on applications and systems to identify problems.
- Use development specifications to create detailed test cases. Analyze results of testing to ensure technology solution matches the organization's business needs.
- Train or contribute to training of stakeholders and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented technologies(s).
- Develops necessary materials and facilitates meetings with Operations, IT, Marketing, BET and team members while participating in strategic system and resource planning for the core and integrated systems.
