Sr. Subcontracts Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposals: Issue requests for proposals and evaluate proposals
  • File maintenance: Maintain subcontract files in accordance with established procedures
  • Problem solving: Under general supervision, solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices
  • Process improvement: Use experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience: 7 + years of relevant experience in purchasing /subcontracts  
  • Education: B.S. / B.A. Majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law 
  • Policy interpretation: Should possess sound reasoning skills and the ability to interpret policies and government regulations in day-to-day activities 
  • Excellent communication: Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders as well as Suppliers  
  • Regulatory knowledge: Experience working with FAR, DFARS, Agency regulations, ITAR, etc. 
  • Negotiation: Effective Negotiator 
  • Interpersonal skills: Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills 

Desired:

  • Organized and systematic approach to task management that enables timely closure of actions  
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance 
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint 
  • Experience with Deltek Timekeeping 
  • Moderate to expert excel skills
