Job Description:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Under general direction, the Sales Comp lead will oversee the compensation programs for the sales teams in the respective business unit.
  • Extensive experience in broad-based sales compensation design is essential, including quota setting, accelerators and decelerators, wage mix analysis, scorecard analysis, and on-target earnings.
  • The role involves providing both administrative and consultative support to sales leaders regarding current compensation programs and making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Responsibilities include processing and overseeing sales compensation programs, including new hire and transfer administration.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to automate and enhance compensation processes.
  • Oversees the development and tracking of sales bonuses.
  • Prepares ad hoc analyses and forecasts for payouts and transfers.
  • Develops and delivers compensation training while responding to field inquiries, including process documentation.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration, serving as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in compensation and sales operations is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and formulas, experience with large datasets, and proficiency in Pivot Tables, Nested Ifs, and VLOOKUP.
  • Familiarity with compensation analysis processes and strategies is important.
  • Experience with various compensation software, particularly Callidus SAP Commissions, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects and programs is essential.
  • This is a mandatory in-office role, requiring full-day attendance in the Richardson, TX office from Monday to Thursday, with work-from-home flexibility on Fridays. 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $98000k - $122000k and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
