About the position:

*The focus of this role is to service accounts and build additional business with our clients in Montreal. Full fluency in French & English is required.*

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing sales organization as well as your career in Data Center / Colocation sales. You will be responsible for generating incremental revenue through a named-account base combined with new logo outreach to carrier and network service provide customers across the entire Cologix North American platform.

Primary responsibilities will include solution based consultative selling, contract lifecycle management, renewals, customer and partner referrals as well as outbound prospecting to a target account segment.

You will carry an individual quota and will be responsible for retiring that quota on a monthly basis. Demonstrable understanding of the data center, real estate and telecommunications industries is a required. Must display the highest integrity at all times, be fully capable with all communications internal and external to the organization, and exhibit strong funnel management, forecasting and quota attainment discipline.

What you do daily:
  • Proactively Identify new opportunities within existing customer base
  • Partner with Carrier customers in strategic expansion projects/opportunities to create a long term benefit for both Cologix and our carrier customers
  • Maintain existing revenue and reduce churn
  • Navigate aggressive targets to grow company value while acting as a strong customer advocate
  • Exhibit diplomacy in building revenue streams that are mutually profitable for the company and solve the customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams including commercials, operations, customer experience and marketing to generate and close opportunities
  • Successfully prospect new opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
  • Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management
  • Participate in trade shows and local area networking events (as possible)
  • Manage CRM discipline for a high volume of activity
What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
  • Must be bi-lingual (full fluency in French / English)
  • Minimum 5 years proven success in solution based b2b selling in the Telecommunications or Data Center sector
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Disciplined in the use of CRM tool for forecasting and sales activity tracking
  • Technical understanding of the below preferred:
    • Data Center Infrastructure
    • Power Infrastructure
    • Telco Connectivity
    • Cloud / HyperScaler connectivity
  • Must be articulate with a demonstrated consultative capability
  • Organized
  • Competitive personality
  • Thorough understanding of the sales process
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Critical listener with effective questioning
  • Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective
  • Able to manage a high level of activity
