Job description

Purpose of the role

In this role, you’ll step up from lead generation to managing the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to negotiating and closing deals. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be instrumental in expanding Flusso’s presence and driving adoption of our technology in emerging applications and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted market research to identify key customer segments and emerging applications for Flusso’s mass flow sensors.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach for entering new markets, with a focus on generating leads and building relationships with potential customers.
  • Use a combination of lead generation techniques—including cold calling, email campaigns, and industry networking—to build a robust pipeline.
  • Learn to lead technical and product presentations, clearly communicating the value proposition of Flusso’s technology to various buyer personas.
  • Negotiate and close deals under the guidance of senior team members, aiming for mutually beneficial long term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing, and customer engineering teams to create cohesive strategies and understand customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A high-performing SDR with a proven record in lead generation and outreach, ideally within a technology-focused company.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn and articulate the advantages of complex technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients.
  • Ambition to exceed sales targets and build a career in business development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in generating leads in emerging or niche markets.
  • Comfortable with a consultative and value-based sales approach. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is a plus but not essential.
