Description
One Full-Time Contract to March 31, 2025 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent) 


Primary functions include provision of assistance and support for adults and children who have a developmental disability and their families. Assist to navigate the service system and explore all community service options available to them. Tasks will include assessment of needs, development and coordination of service plans, referral support and skill development.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Social Work or related discipline (i.e. Health Sciences)
  • Three years directly related front line experience
  • Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is essential
  • Language skills and an understanding of cultural diversity are considered assets
  • French or Cantonese language skills is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with the local service system and its providers is required
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide a police clearance that meets agency standards
  • A valid G Drivers License, access to a reliable vehicle and business use insurance coverage, OR access to reliable transportation.

Starting Hourly Rate: $31.50 / Hour

Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Office Expectations:
Once per month, for team coverage, meetings, and trainings when required
