What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for a highly motivated Crypto Vertical Lead to join our team. The person will be responsible for leading the development of our Crypto vertical strategy, with a primary focus on driving commercial growth, client management, and developing strategic solutions to position dLocal among stablecoins use cases and tier 1 crypto exchanges. Additionally, they will coordinate key operational aspects to ensure smooth and successful performance across the vertical.

What will I be doing?
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to expand the Crypto vertical and meet revenue growth objectives. Define use cases and customer segments for stablecoins across remittances and B2B verticals, and also onboard tier 1 exchanges.
  • Monitor vertical performance through KPIs and data analysis, proposing improvements to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Building partnerships with financial institutions like banks and fintechs with a focus on supporting Crypto's different use cases.
  • Gather inputs and coordinate with internal teams including operations, product, technology, risk, and treasury on the creation and execution of product development to ensure the effective implementation of customized scalable solutions for Crypto clients.
  • Oversee operational processes to ensure efficient and seamless delivery of services, optimizing internal workflows and procedures.
  • Represent the Crypto vertical in both internal and external meetings, acting as the key point of contact for strategic partners and clients.
  • Identify market trends and new business opportunities in the Crypto space.

  • What skills do I need?
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or operational management roles within a crypto environment, preferably in the payments or fintech sector
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Deep knowledge of Crypto and corporate client relationship management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in English and Spanish
  • Ability to analyze data and KPIs with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent English
