Job Description

As the Nonprofit Human Services Portfolio Management Leader, you are responsible for performing underwriting tasks involving new business and renewals along with optimization of portfolio strategy.

Accountabilities:

Ownership of assigned portfolio while Creating and growing strategic relationships with distribution partners within the portfolio by:

  • Handling new business and renewal production.
  • Modeling the standard for service and responsiveness for the portfolio team.
  • Assessing the needs of the partners to formulate mutually beneficial roadmaps.
  • Managing relationships with key distribution partners to drive profitable portfolio growth.
  • Coordinating with distribution associates in managing the relationships within the portfolio to maximize business opportunities, communicate corporate initiatives/strategies, resolve issues, and oversee change management..
  • Developing continuous pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • At least 5 year experience in commercial lines underwriting.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Prior experience in underwriting nonprofit humans services and/or education accounts.
  • Working to obtain or has already CPCU or other industry equivalent.

Compensation:

  • $94,500 - $157,500 commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility
  • $104,100 - $173,500 commensurate with experience in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA, plus bonus eligibility
