Job Description

As a Product Designer focused on native mobile applications, you will lead design projects, from ideation through implementation. You’ll have a key role in creating intuitive, user-centered experiences specifically tailored for mobile platforms while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your role will require deep knowledge of mobile UX/UI design, user research, and interaction patterns, ensuring that the mobile applications are optimized for both iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

Lead design projects for native mobile apps from conception to completion, ensuring user-friendly, mobile-specific experiences

Mentor junior designers, providing feedback on mobile design principles and patterns

Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions, focusing on mobile use cases

Facilitate design brainstorming and workshops with stakeholders to generate solutions that address both user and business needs

Influences and contributes to product strategy based on a deep understanding of user needs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders, to ensure seamless mobile experience design and integration

Ensure consistency by working within, and contributing to, the company’s design system, extending mobile-specific components when necessary

Make informed decisions on mobile-specific information architecture and navigation models

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in product design with a strong focus on native mobile applications (iOS and Android)

Expertise in mobile design patterns, gestures, and UI frameworks for iOS and Android

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile app UX best practices

Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first designs that deliver seamless and engaging user experiences

Set a high standard for design quality and work independently with minimal supervision

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, while demonstrating leadership during design critiques and project planning
