Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Manager to support KPS and our government customer. This is a Remote Opportunity. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Planning and Risk Management:
    • Create and monitor project plans, schedules and deliverables
    • Manage all project risks including budget and goals
  • Project Reporting:
    • Review and analyze daily apply count reports from USSS client
    • Gather data from multiple sources and conduct analysis toward goals and trends
    • Analyze outcomes and translate into narrative form for client reports
    • Create Excel graphs to display numeric data from a table
    • Manage on-time delivery of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports that are submitted to Congress
    • Manage creation and delivery of miscellaneous white papers and historical/future data requests
  • Project Budget Management:
    • Create a channel level budget and all associated support details (including CPAs)
    • Track changes via a change log
    • Reconcile to the monthly invoices and actual monthly spends and total budget
    • Ensure the project stays on budget
    • Escalate risks to management
    • Provide updates and reports to management and clients
  • Monthly Project Invoicing to IPP:
    • Reconconcile media and advertising expenses
    • Gather input from Events Coordinator for event expenses
    • Combine all invoices into one pdf invoice document and submit to executive team for submission to IPP
    • Communicate monthly invoice submission to USSS Contracting team
  • Vendor Management:
    • Facilitate and lead regular meetings with subcontractors
    • Track and manage deliverables and tasks
    • Ensure outcomes are consistent with contract expectations
  • Client Management:
    • Act as the single point of contact for all advertising and media aspects of the project
    • Respond to all client requests on priority
    • Respond to emails within 1 day with answers or commitments for delivery dates
    • Return phone calls within 2 hours during business times
    • Facilitate weekly and monthly client meetings including agenda creation and report presentations
    • Provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate with executive leadership for any contract/purchase negotiations that require the use of corporate cards, account set-ups, and specific federal government contract negotiations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the executive management team

To be successful in this role, the employee will need to be able to:

  • Self-prioritize tasks and adjust quickly to changes in priority
  • Work on tight deadlines
  • Be competent in using applications such as Word / Google Docs, Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Google Slides / Project Management Software
  • Be proficient in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
