A Day in the Life
Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They are able to partner with hospital management teams to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and run and optimize operations.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Activation Manager to lead the delivery of complex supply chain managed service projects. In this role, you will be a strategic leader with deep project management expertise and a strong understanding of healthcare supply chain operations, supporting the delivery of IHS operating room managed service (ORMS) and Cath Lab managed service (CLMS) across materials management, managed equipment services and turnkey solutions. This is a remote role with a willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) perspective (approximately 50% total).
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead the delivery of ORMS and CLMS projects, ensuring they meet scope, project timelines, and budgetary requirements
- Define project goals and deliverables in collaboration with internal IHS Business Development and Operational subject matter expertise
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues - developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients through effective communication and building strong collaborative relationships
- Collaborate with external vendors, and client stakeholders to align on objectives and deliverables and facilitate and lean effective communication, reporting, and decision making between all project stakeholders.
- Leverage PMO (project management office) playbook and toolkit to adhere to standardized ways of working, ensuring team members are aligned to meet clearly defined objectives
- Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory and IHS quality standards specific to OR and Cath Lab implementations
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, supply chain management, healthcare management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in NHS facing project management, with a focus on supply chain operations and in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry challenges, trends, and regulations related to supply chain operations
- Proven success in delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
- Experience working in a managed services environment or with outsourcing solutions is highly desirable.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware) and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
- English fluency required; other languages preferred (Dutch, Danish, French, German)
