Who are you?
The Manager of Technical Operations is responsible for providing day to day support for the Technical Operations team. The Manager of Technical Operations must maintain a high-level understanding of the company workflows and departmental interdependencies to make educated decisions on best practice policies & procedures. The Manager of Technical Operations must be able to perform any task that the team is required to perform and will be able to assist with or complete such tasks as needed. As Manager of Technical Operations, you will also be accountable for training of team members.
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
- Maintain an understanding of the workflows between operational departments
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding process/workflow changes
- Manage and support the team of Coordinators, Specialists, and Senior Specialists
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, validate, and clarify business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of needs and expectations so that changes for existing clients or new client are implemented seamlessly
- Communicates status of ongoing tasks on a regular basis to other organizational leaders as needed
- Other Duties may include:
- Analyze the mapping of insurance claims, import/export files, and eligibility files for troubleshooting any operational inquiry
- Identify technical issues that may arise from improper enrollment or enrollment changes on electronic data interchange (EDI) files and coordinate with engineering partners to resolve issues
- Coordinates ongoing EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades
- Ensure that business requirements are translated into actionable solutions that align with organizational goals, leveraging expertise to bridge the gap between needs and implementable solutions
- Creates ad hoc SQL queries to support Operations
- Build and maintain file transmissions through file transfer tools, i.e GoAnywhere, MoveIt, etc

Qualifications:
What you bring to the Personify Health team:
In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:
- 5+ years of experience with system analysis, data analysis, and/or process improvement
- 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare Industry
- 2+ years of experience with healthcare related EDI transactions, including 834, 835, 837, 270/271, 276/277
- 2+ years of claims adjudication systems like QicLink, Eldorado, GIAS, etc
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of the Healthcare & TPA Industry preferred
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Detail Oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e Excel, Outlook, Word, etc
- Demonstrated track record of successfully analyzing data, gathering requirements, and providing valuable insights and solutions to support business decision-making.
- Competence in using various data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant software
- Experience with JIRA
- Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, articulate complex information to diverse stakeholders, and present findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively, facilitate discussions, and negotiate requirements among various teams

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $108,000 to $125,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
