Overview:
The Senior IT Trainer role encompasses the responsibilities of the IT Trainer as well as the Management of IT Training Projects. The scope of this role is to manage, develop, implement, and maintain training programs related to business critical systems within the organization. In this role, the Senior IT Trainer will work with the IT Training Manager, project teams (PM’s, BA’s, BSA’s, etc.), and business units to manage, develop and execute IT Training Projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manages, develops, implements, and maintains training programs for the organizations’ critical systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft GP, Microsoft CRM,Alert, Connectwise, and Cisco WebEx
- Leads the development of training programs including User Guides, Reference Guides, Cheat Sheets, Learning Labs, eLearning Tutorials, Quizzes, Training Communications, and Certifications
- Utilizes video recording and editing software to create and produce eLearning Tutorials
- Serves as Content Owner of the SharePoint IT Training Site
- Coordinates logistics and conducts training sessions in both web-based and classroom training environments
- Collaborates with the IT Training Manager, Project Managers, and Business Partners to determine training objectives and delivery methods
- Builds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to the success of the IT Training Team
- Assigns, manages, and tracks task and resources at all phases of IT Training projects
- Manages changes in IT Training project scope, identifies potential risks and creates contingency plans
- Manages issue identification and resolution process for IT Training projects
- Prepares and presents IT Training project status reports and presentations to IT Leadership and Senior Leadership
- Manages IT Training Survey process to ensure metrics related to training participation and trainer performance are captured
- Develops Communication Plans and writes training communications related to software upgrades and implementations
- Resolves Service Request tickets from customers (internal C1 employees) assigned to the IT Trainer queue
- Participates in QA/UAT testing of new and upgraded software applications, as needed
- Provides 1:1 Training/Coaching on business critical applications
- Provides guidance and gives instruction to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Education, Communication or equivalent experience
- 4 or more years of experience with the development and/or delivery of technical training courses
- 2 or more years of project management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Project, Visio, SharePoint)
- Experience with Web Conferencing applications, LMS systems, and Video/Recording tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of a variety of training concepts, practices, and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management and business analyst concepts and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Problem Solving, Decision Making, Organizational, and Negotiation Skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed with an ability to multi-task
- Strong customer service orientation
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications for training and/or technical experience
- PMP Certification
- ITIL Certification

Pay Range
$63,000 - $95,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to
base pay.
