What you'll do
As a Procurement Analyst, your operational excellence will be critical to Docusign’s growth and success. You will support the organization by delivering a wide array of procurement and buying activities. Your job responsibilities will require coordination with internal collaborators and suppliers, keen decision making and prioritization skills, painstaking attention to detail, and consistent follow-up. This Procurement team member plays a crucial role in onboarding new suppliers, implementing and optimizing procure-to-pay activities, and monitoring supplier invoicing and spend. You may also engage in bidding and negotiations for certain goods and services of low to medium complexity on behalf of the business areas you support.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Supervisor, Procurement Operations.
Responsibility
- Partner with Sourcing and other key collaborators to ensure that proposed supplier spending is proactively reviewed, sourced, negotiated, and transacted to support profitable Docusign growth
- Negotiate low to medium complexity contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and services, and assist team members with supplier selection and negotiations
- Initiate and track onboarding and procurement-related request tickets, following up with necessary parties, including, but not limited to requestor, legal, procurement, third party risk, finance, and accounts payables, as appropriate, to ensure efficient movement of requests through entire end-to-end procure to pay process (P2P)
- Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices to support a variety of teams and purchasing needs across the organization
- Train and assist end users in using Docusign’s procure-to-pay software solution to satisfy purchasing needs, functioning as a “Super User” for Docusign’s P2P solution (Oracle)
- Fix, problem solve and advise others across the organization on how to expedite processing of both purchase orders and invoices
- Call out anomalies and non-standard charges and fees as appropriate
- Collaborate with, and act as liaison to, other Docusign departments and with third party suppliers, agencies and organizations
- Facilitate communication between appropriate internal departments as necessary
- Influence process owners for improvements to increase efficiency and improve internal and external parties’ experience in doing business with/for Docusign
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
- BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience
- 2+ years of procurement or related business experience
- Experience with ServiceNow or other procurement workflow tools for procurement requests, intake, and procurement process orchestration
- 1+ years of experience with Oracle’s Source-to-Pay Cloud Procurement solution or a similar enterprise P2P solution (e.g. Coupa, SAP, Oracle), both as an end-user and as functional process owner
Preferred
- BS/BA degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Pre-Law, Finance, or Business Administrations focus
- Familiarity with procurement success metrics and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Experience negotiating for goods and services on behalf of fast growth technology enterprises
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency with procure to pay control frameworks and processes
- Familiarity with RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, source selection processes, and sourcing concepts
- Business and finance savvy with the ability to analyze supplier spending patterns to identify issues and opportunities
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $35.67/hour - $51.43/hour
Illinois and Colorado: $33.37/hour - $43.36/hour
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $33.37/hour - $46.38/hour
Washington DC: $X/hour - $35.67/hour - $46.38/hour
This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
